Welcome to Inclusivity.net (incporporating Inclusivity.mobi). The Digital Home of Kevin Thomson - Digital Inclusivity Evangelist.

My Inclusivity Message For You - Wow! It been a while in the making, innovating, creating, developing, investing and launching of our; tools and technologies, training and consulting services, industry involvement, advice and guidance (like the new BS8878) - but it has been worth it! But only if it helps YOU, and the millions of web owners, operators and their millions of customers and communities - with or without difficulties and disabilities. That's when you, and we, get a Wow! We hear it all the time when people across the globe experience an inclusive web and mobile world.

My Dyslexic World - Pioneer in Marketing and Communication. Innovator in Accessibility. Dyslexic with ADHD and Meares/Irlens, the Visual Stress Syndrome, and tinnitus which badly affects my hearing; these are difficulties (I have only found out about in the last few years) that have affected me all my life; who I am, how I see the world, what I do, how I communicate, my reading and writing style, not just how I spell. Author; Emotional Capital, The Company Culture Cook Book, Employee Revolution. International Speaker. Honorary Professor. Chartered Institute of Marketing Fellow. Former International Board Member I A B C. Award winning entrepreneur, like the New York Film Festival Gold Award for BA Putting People First Again. Former President MCA - Marketing and Communication Agency; sold to WPP. Founder of Textic.

My Big Bold Goal - Greater Digital Inclusivity and Accessibility. As Founder of Textic Ltd the first part of my big bold goal is to provide the technology tools that close the digital divide for those with communication difficulties - physical, visual, cognitive, learning. Our core solution Talklets provides 10 'reasonable adjustments' that assist web access. As Founder of Hidden Differences the second part my big bold goal is to work with charities, associations and organisations like the British Standards Institute (on the new BS8878) to develop the policies, programmes and practices that help the world of marketing, communication and corporate strategy to understand and deliver greater digital accessibilty and inclusivity.

My Communication Diversity Mission - Help eradicate the digital accessibility divide. Why? Two reasons. Because helping those with communication needs is not only delivering better customer service, and creating happier customers but also because the market for meeting the needs of those with communication difficulties and disabilities, across the globe, is set to explode. Net result? The 5 R's; greater reach, revenue, R O I, risk reduction and responsibility.

My Driving Force - Communication Difficulties and Disabilities. I personally know how important digital inclusivity is for myself, family and friends - and of course for our customers and web visitors; not to mention the law. Oh, and responsibility as a business and community member!

I have been affected all my life with dyslexia, ADHD and Meares/Irlens syndrome (visual difficulties with colour and contrast); not that I knew it! As I (and the population) get older I have increasing visual and aural difficulties, like tinnitus and reading. I now know the enormous impact that solving those communication difficulties and disabilties has on people's life - the young, the elderly, the digitally excluded through inabilty to read, see, move, hear. This is a global market. This is an exciting market. This is an untapped market. And if you get it right for people with communication difficulties - you get it right for just about everyone else. The solution of rich media, multi-sensory communication, personalisation of visual, auditory and descriptive content is good for all of us.
