Our Vision – A world of communication diversity.
"I see a world where organisations recognise that ‘everybody is different’ when it comes to their communication preferences, needs and wants." Kevin M Thomson
For example you may have an aural preference to hear information rather than read it, you may have a need to listen to information when and where you can, like on the train when you commute, on your mp3 rather than waste time at the office, and you may want to have information sent to you via RSS feeds direct to you iPod rather than spending time surfing. You may be blind, dyslexic, not be able to understand English be it written or spoken, have not a clue about jargon, need a screen reader etc. That’s communication diversity.
Our Bold Goal – To ensure communication diversity is a normal everyday activity and to create an environment where everyone sees the need for, and is running a 'Big Big Difference' type of communication diversity programme.
Our business goal is to create a recognition in the marketing and communication world where difficulties and disabilities are viewed as ‘normal’ and a normal, everyday part of the markeing and communcation process.
Our Mission - First in marketing and communication diversity
Our mission is to be seen as ‘first in marketing and communication diversity’. We are the people to come to when it comes to the policies, procedures, practices, programmes and panels for communication diversity.
Our Strategy – Lead the way in thought leadership
Our strategy is to be seen to lead the way in thought leadership with books, articles, platform speaking, case studies, press coverage, new thinking and part of creating the global frameworks for a communication diversity’ aware world e.g. membership of BSI Disability Standard Committee on Web Usability IST45.

Sally Hayward, BA (Hons) and Barrister, Gray's Inn.

Director of Legal Compliance
Sally has 20 years' experience working as a government lawyer. She was a member of the Home Office led Sexual Offences Review team which made widespread recommendations resulting in a major revision of the law. She has represented the United Kingdom on legal issues at Strasbourg, and provided legal policy advice to the Director of Public Prosecutions, the Attorney General and Cabinet Office on a wide range of topics. Sally has written and delivered legal training packages to Crown Prosecutors and the police. She has also assisted in area performance audits for the Crown Prosecution Service, and was a key player in prosecution planning for Y2K. Most recently, she has specialised in the high profile area of anti social behaviour, as one of a team of specialist lawyers reporting directly to the Attorney General.
Sally relishes the challenge of helping companies and organisations understand and implement the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Acts. 'This is a real win win for everyone. Making communication accessible to all not only opens up the marketplace, it also helps to empower employees, so they can give of their best. The Disability Rights Commission (DRC) have started to become active in tackling non compliant communication, and the 2005 Act will make it all the more essential that all advertisers get their message across in accordance with the law. No company or organisation would want to have the negative publicity of being sued by the DRC. The legislation requires a new mindset, and I look forward to helping service providers broaden their communication horizons.'
